PATENT PENDING has announced they will be playing the CMJ Marathon. It’s been a while since we’ve seen the Long Island group so we’re psyched to know that we’ll soon be able to put on our party pants and catch the P-Unit.
PATENT PENDING are always out promoting their shows in fun and unique ways. So to promote their upcoming hometown show, dubbed the Pre-Summer Bro-Down (May 25th at The Crazy Donkey) the band added a commercial to their Band World Youtube Site.

The guys in PATENT PENDING were in Las Vegas on vacation and rather than gambling away their money, they swung by the studios of KXTE – Xtreme Radio and performed some songs live on the Vegas airwaves. You can watch footage of them performing their song “This Can’t Happen Again” acoustic in the studio now.
Last week we reported that PATENT PENDING recently took the stage with Mc Lars and performend his song “Hot Topic Is Not Punk Rock” with the post-punk laptop rapper. Not to be outdone by anyone, the band’s mascot BENNY THE WHALE got on stage with Lars as well and performed “Ahab” with Lars. It was only fitting for the song is about Lars hunting Moby Dick performed to a Supergrass sample.
