The summer of reunions continues with some brand-spankin’ new music from THE VERVE! We caught them on their reunion tour a few months back and are definitely psyched to see Richard and co writing some new tunes again!

The band just released a new song for us to get all worked up to. Check out the stream of the song “Love Is Noise” over at their myspace page.

The Verve | Madison Square Garden Theater, NYC | 4.29.2008

A long list of influential bands have been reuniting for tours and festivals over the last couple years. There are two bands rejoining this year which changed my life only the way music can: THE VERVE and MY BLOODY VALENTINE. Last night, Richard Ashcroft, Nick McCabe, Simon Jones and Pete Salisbury took the stage as The Verve for the second time in two nights at the Madison Square Garden Theatre in NYC. I heard and read online they sounded fantastic at Coachella this past weekend and every word-of-mouth bit or rumor was absolutely true. The Verve Make The Thaw Sessions Available

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

The VerveWhen THE VERVE got together again for the first time in 9 years, they all met in a recording studio in West London. They picked up instruments and started playing around a bit. Those recordings were later known as The Thaw Sessions, 14 minutes were recorded of the band being, well The Verve.

Now, thanks to NME, the band has made those 14 minutes availble for download as an MP3 for the next 7 days.

The band has been slowly warming back up to this whole reunio thing, by announcing a show in Nottingham Arena in the UK on December 7th. More ticket info can be found here.
