We’re always down for a get together so it was no surprise to catch us at The Annex last night for a little party put on by Vice Records to celebrate the release of the new album Lust Lust Lust by THE RAVEONETTES. The Newcastle was flowing at the bar and the dj was playing the tunes. Not much more one needs than that.

The band’s sounds is a blend of vintage garage rock and fuzz, packed into what often sounds like the soundtrack to a classic black and white horror film. Check out their first single “Aly Walk With Me”.

THE RAVEONETTES have released the first video for the track “Dead Sound” from the upcoming record Lust Lust Lust. The vid has your ususal Raveonettes tomfollery with an on old movie feel to it.

We reported earlier that THE RAVEONETTES have inked a deal with Vice Records to release their new album Lust Lust Lust on February 19th. Now a track has been put out there in the world for us all to preview. Give “Aly Walk With Me” a listen.

THE RAVEONETTES have inked a US record death with Vice Music. The Danish duo of Sune Rose Wagner and Sharon Fu found themselves without a label when they parted ways with Sony Music last spring.

The band was putting the finishing touches on a new album titled Lust Lust Lust when the split happened. Vice plans on releasing the album in early 2008. There will be a US tour for the new record as well.

The released 3 critically acclaimed albums, Whip It On, Chain Gang Of Love, and Pretty In Black through the Sony system.

THE RAVEONETTES have announced they have parted ways with their record label in the US. Sony Music has been the home for the Danish duo for their last 3 albums Whip It On, Chain Gang Of Love, and Pretty In Black.

The band has pretty much wrapped the finishing touches on their latest album, Lust Lust Lust and have said that they are in the process of nailing down a North American record deal.
