Punctuate.org just ran an interview with our boys in THE NORTH ATLANTIC. To you, my lovely Synners, I present it:
The North Atlantic
11 November 2006, Saturday
at Common Grounds
Gainesville, Florida
Interview by Liz Kelly
The only band I’ve been listening to for about the past month and a half has been The North Atlantic. Their frenetic energy and smart lyrics caught my attention and I was hooked. One recent Saturday I made the two hour journey to Gainesville to see the band for the first time and after meeting them and spending some time together, I’m even more enamored with them. Their live show didn’t hurt either, playing a short five song set, but including both an old and new song. The 125 mile roundtrip was totally worth it.
Go ahead and say your names and what you do and what band you are.
Cullen: We are the North Atlantic from San Diego, California. My name is Cullen Hendrix and I play drums.
Richards: My name is Jason Richards, I play bass and I play keyboards a little bit, too.
Jason: My name is Jason Hendrix, I play guitar and I sing - or yell - and I play keyboards as well a little bit.
How did you guys end up on a label with bands like Patent Pending?
