All That Remains Guitarist Mike Martin, Producer Zeuss Added To Second Annual Metal Insider Summit

Panels Scheduled for 1 PM and 1:45 PM on April 17 at New England Metal and Hardcore Festival

All That Remains rhythm guitarist Mike Martin and renowned producer Zeuss (Shadows Fall, Hatebreed, Chimaira) have been added as panelists to the second annual Metal Insider Summit on Friday, April 17. The event, part of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, will begin at 1 PM with Zeuss speaking on the “Metal During a Recession” panel and Mike Martin partaking in the “Breaking Into the Industry” round table. Both sessions will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, located at 35 Major Taylor Boulevard in Worcester, MA, adjacent to the Palladium.

Admission is free with an RSVP at MetalInsider.net and a ticket to the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, or appropriate proof of purchase. Those unable to attend will be able to contribute and learn with exclusive coverage at MetalInsider.net, MetalSucks.net and MetalInjection.net in the days following the event.

Swooping Down On Revolver’s Golden Gods Awards

If you would have told me when I was high school that many years later I’d be a VIP at the Golden Gods metal awards show I would have pinched myself. It’s a pretty awesome and yet awkward feeling when you are in the Men’s room and you look to your left and realize, “Holy shit, Kerry King from Slayer is next to me.” Obviously not a good time to shake his hand, but nonetheless, a cool metal moment.

Jonathan Davis from Korn, who presented Ozzy Osbourne with Lifetime Achievement award summed the night up best. He said something to the effect of “Finally, I don’t have to travel overseas to be at a metal awards show,” which was met with a huge round of applause! (more…)
