Comedian ZACH GALIFINAKIS shows off his interview skills in this Funny Or Die clip called Between Two Ferns. Rather than doing any real work he sat down with actor MICHAEL CERA (Juno, Superbad, Arrested Development) and asked the tough questions for this Comedy Deathray special directed by Ruben Fleischer.

I finally caught time to head to the movie theater and see the movie Juno this weekend. Besides the total asses behind me who talked the entire flick and made their ignorance totally known to everyone in the theater; the movie was a quirky and funny film with a terrific cast of characters.

Being as big a fan of the tv show Arrested Development as I am, I was anxious to see Michael Cera and Jason Bateman back together on screen. Even though the two didn’t have scenes together, it was great to see the Bluth father and son back together in something.

Most of the music from the music consisted of quirky indie rock gems - “totally fuckin’ whack” music if you asked the talkative jerk that sat behind me at the theater, but that’s a different story. (more…)

One of our favorite TV shows in the office is the brilliant but cancelled Arrested Development. It seems many of us could quote our favorite parts from any of the episodes in the three short seasons it was on the air. Because of this it took us a while to come to grips with the show’s cancellation. We’ve purchased the show on DVD and lost countless hours watching the bonus features.

But now that we’ve properly been able to put the show to rest there are new rumors abound that the show has a glimmer of hope, but in film form… (more…)

If they find a system that works, why redo it? Well the folks over at FOX Searchlight are doing just that with their new movie Juno which is due out this holiday season.

Just watching the trailer the story follows what we think might just be the teenage version of Knocked Up. We’re not saying this is a bad thing. There’s a whole slew of great actors in the movie, including Michael Cera, Jason Bateman (both alumi of the criminally underated tv show Arrested Development) Jennifer Garner (Alias, Daredevil, Elektra), J.K. Simmons (Spiderman), Rainn Wilson (The Office), Allison Janney (The West Wing), and Ellen Page (X-Men: The Last Stand’s Kitty Pryde) as the title role.

The story follows one precocious high schooler Juno MacGuff, who gets “knocked up” by Paulie Bleeker (Cera), the local sweatband wearing wannabe and all the adventures of carrying the baby to term for an adoptive couple, played by Gardner and Bateman. Add the whacky dialogue and wit of her parents (Janney and Simmons) and toss in director Jason Reitman (Thank You For Smoking and son of movie legend Ivan Reitman) and you have yourself some good modern family fun.
