M83 | The Bowery Ballroom, NYC | 6.4.2008

Thursday, June 5th, 2008

Last night we caught M83 live at The Bowery Ballroom. It was our first chance to see them in a few years and they brought the thunder! Playing an atmospheric mix of all their albums, including jams off the latest Saturdays=Youth. The show was sold out, people put on their dancing pants and showed how it was done.

I had my camera on hand but got hit with the double whammy of being in a bad spot to get clear pics, then I left my memory card at home so I couldn’t look the pics over. So I decided to use the best memory card ever created, the human brain. The picture above is my (highly) skilled interpretation of the band on stage.

Judge Wapner, I’m still waiting for you to give me a call and offer me the job of your next courtroom sketch artist.
