- THE BRONX are taking their mariachi band, El Bronx on a tour of Mexican food joints in the greater Los Angeles area this fall.

- Coming off a 3rd week at #1 in the box office, some cast members of The Dark Knight are calling for Heath Ledger to recieve a posthumus nomination for an Academy Award. What are the odds of it actually happening?

- There’s a sequel planned for the cult movie, Boondock Saints.

VIDEO: Alkaline Trio | “Help Me”

Hot off the heels of their appearance on The Hills, ALKALINE TRIO have themselves a proper video for their single “Help Me”. It’s a performance vid of the band on the road in the UK and even some clips from them at The Bamboozle.

If this video isn’t enough A3 for you, frontman Matt Skiba is also pulling some vocals duties in the new new H2O video/song as well.

H20, have just released the video for their we-had-to-wait-too-long-to-get-it album, Nothing To Prove. The is the band’s response to their scene and its current status.

The video starts off with one Michael Rappaport asking the song’s title question (a bit reminisceht of the Denis Leary MTV Rants). Check out some guest cameos like Lou (Sick Of It All) and Matt Skiba (Alkaline Trio) paying homage to some NYC landmarks and some of the scene’s heroes.

Bridge Nine Records Has A New Sampler

BRIDGE NINE RECORDS just released a new label sampler for 2008. It’s 11 tracks chock full of artists currently representing on the label. Bands like H20, New Found Glory, Verse, Ceremony, Crime In Stereo all make an apperance on the comp.
