On Monday, August 4th, some really crappy person broke into THE STOOGES’ rented truck, stealing the truck and making off with all of the band’s gear inside. The break-in happened outside the band’s hotel at the Embassy Suites in Montreal.

All equipment was in a rented Penske 15 foot yellow truck with US (Michigan) license plate number AC46493 parked immediately outside the hotel, the theft had to have happened in the morning, between 6:30 and 7:30 am - the truck and all gear stolen.

Literally everything was taken, Ron Asheton’s guitars, Scott Asheton’s drums and Mike Watt’s bass (pictured above), Iggy’s microphones, everything.

Someone stole a bit of Ian Curtis! NME is reporting final resting place of the JOY DIVISION frontman was vandalized.

The singer’s memorial gravestone was stolen last night at a cemetery in Macclesfield in the UK. The headstone had been visited by thousands yearly to pay respects to the deceased singer who committed suicide in December 1980. As of right now there are no leads to the theivery and that part of the cemetery was not under any portion of video surveilance. Police are currently looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crime.

The Syndicate would like to give some much-deserved attention to the passing of “Baby”, an albino squirrel from North Texas. He was tragically and senselessly murdered by a hawk.

CNN is reporting that there will be no charges against Lovato in the murder of a man that Lovato he stabbed to death.

“There was insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the killing was not a justified use of force in self-defense,”

The victim was apparently the new boyfriend of Lovato’s ex-girlfriend.

However he should be fined for this picture CNN included with the article. “Whatcha gonna do!”

Hey, Bill here, writing my second post. On Thursday morning I walked out to my car to find that I was short one wheel. There was also a fresh bag of White Castle right next to the wheel. Perhaps the criminal enjoyed a double cheeseburger as he stole my tire (see below photos). Later that night I ate a cheeseburger at a Mexican restaurant before seeing Planes Mistaken For Stars and The Draft. Show review and photos coming tomorrow.
