We always love it when there’s a big “geek” convention happening. One of the reasons is because we’re usually front and center participating in the madness. The other reason is because there’s a pretty good chance Triumph The Insult Comic Dog would be on the scene for Conan O’Brien ready to deal on the unsuspecting attendees.

NADA SURF stopped by the NBC studios and performed on Late Night With Conan O’Brien earlier this week. Check out footage of them performing “Whose Authority” now.

In case you missed it, late night television shows were back on the air beginning last night. With most the major players involved but not all of them seemingly excited about it. Conan O’Brien and David Letterman were sporting beards as a sign of solidarity for their picketing friends in the WGA.

However, Letterman was in a bit of a different situation than most of the other hosts. Since his production company, Worldwide Pants owns Late Show With David Letterman and Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson struck a deal with writers union putting writers back on the job and business as usual. Shows hosted by O’Brien, Jimmy Kimmel, and Jay Leno are owned by the networks so they were left to the mercy of their own thoughts and some improvisation. (more…)

A while back BLOC PARTY debuted their new song “Flux” on Late Night With Conan O’Brien. They have a new studio video for the song. This comes fresh off the heels of us running into one of the monsters from Kaiju Big Battel during CMJ so it’s no surprise that we now have what can best be described as a Beastie Boys - inspired video featuring those crazy Kaiju monsters.

Last week BLOC PARTY stopped by Late Night With Conan O’Brien to debut a new song called “Flux”. We got the performance for you here.

When ART BRUT recently appeard on Late Night With Conan O’Brien to perform their song “Direct Hit” off their latest album It’s A Bit Complicated, they found an unlikely fan in none other than Harry Potter himself, Daniel Radcliffe. Who, while being interviewed by Conan, went on about how much he was a fan of the band. Need proof? We thought so, watch the clip.
