Jason Batemen apppeared on Countdown with Keith Olbermann to do some plugging of his new movie with Will Smith, Hancock. He didn’t get very far because about halfway through his interview David Cross appeared on the set and the two let a few more Arrested Development movie rumors fly. They gave off the general idea that the movie was indeed going down, they just needed to finalize a few more details before there was any official announcement. We still want to make sure Franklin has a part in the movie.

A seller by the name of surfdan13 is currently auctioning off the teak furniture used on the set of the tv show ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT. Time to place a bid on Tobias Funke’s dresser and bed.

To prove his validity, the auctioneer posted pics of the furniture with the AD invetory tag on it. The one question we have is how he came into possession of the furniture in the first place? It’s not like he managed to snag a pair of jean shorts and stuff them in a bag while on set. These are some serious pieces of furniture that one would have definitely needed some aid in getting off the show’s set.

AUCTION: Arrested Development Teak Furniture

The rumors of an Arrested Development movie have gotten so loud, they are nearly deafening. Hell, there’s even an IMDB post slotting it for a 2009 release. Jason Bateman gave up a lot of rumors about things coming together during his press junkets for Juno. Now Alia Shawkat (Maeby) is the one dishing some more fodder for the rumor mill.

In an interview with Radar Magazine, Shawkat said the buzz got things going. Producers called writers, actors asked questions and blam! So now it seems like an AD movie is all but shot and the original cast is on board for a movie version of The Bluths.

This might not be all great news for in the interview as well, it was also stated that Franklin, the racist puppet might have seen an early demise.

Just the other day I was thinking that I don’t see enough of B-52S frontman Fred Schneider on the robotic transportation devices known as Segways. So you can only imagine my relief when I got to lay my eyes on the band’s new video for the song “Funplex” this morning. Good ol’ Fred is zooming all around the mall on that thing. And just to add the special B-52’s touch, he added a cup holder.

“Hop on my Segway! It’s as big as a whale! And it’s about to set sail!”
