Since our favorite fast food heroes, Aqua Teen Hunger Force reside in New Jersey, we should not be surprised their neighbor Carl is a NY Giants fan. So the other day, when the football team clinched the championship putting them in the Super Bowl. Our favorite 2D Jersey-ite had some colorful things to say about the team’s competition the New England Patriots. He also had some colorful things to say about his own team. Carl, it’s rants like this that make us love you.

The season premire of Aqua Teen Hunger Force debuted last night and it was chock full of special guests including a couple they tried to pass off as THE WHITE STRIPES but as soon as the couple spoke it became very apparent it was not the famed rock duo.

But the show was not full of disappointments. In fact it gave us the impression that our favorite food groups are somewhere locked up (the had no screen time last night) and we might get to see them make a break for it in the near future. In addition to a shake, meat, and fryless episode, we were also introduced to new robotic characters, voiced by Fred Armisen and Rachel Dratch. These robots went on a tear harrasing Carl the entire episode. This new season seems to be star-studded for not only are Armisen and Dratch apppearing, but musicians like Neko Case, Josh Homme, T-Pain, Kelly Hogan, and one former baseball player, John Kruk are all set to surface this season.

The best thing is, you can watch the entire first episode on the AS website here and not take my pitiful review of it for granted.

BOSTON, Massachusetts (CNN) — Electronic light boards featuring an adult-cartoon character triggered bomb scares around Boston on Wednesday, spurring authorities to close two bridges and a stretch of the Charles River before determining the devices were harmless.Turner Broadcasting Co., the parent company of CNN, said the devices contained harmless magnetic lights aimed at promoting the Adult Swim network’s late-night cartoon “Aqua Teen Hunger Force.” Law enforcement sources said the devices displayed one of the Mooninites, outer-space delinquents who appear frequently on the show, greeting visitors with a raised middle finger.
