Eugene From Gogol Bordello Made A Film With Madonna

Madonna is one of the latest people to jump on the gypsy bandwagon that is Eugene Hütz. But one of the ways she’s able to one-up all of Gogol Bordello fans by puting the gypsy punk frontman into a movie. Sneaky move Madonna!

Madge takes a tip from her husband Guy Ritchie and makes her directing debut on the new film Filth And Wisdom. Hütz plays a character that seems pretty close to his persona we’re familiar with. Judging from the trailer, he plays a pimp / street hustler / dominatrix / musician / Fagin-like character from Oliver Twist that convinces people to take off their clothes. Count us in to watch it, not because of the obvious removal of the clothes but because we loved Hütz in Everything Is Illuminated.
