Lord, Let It Rain On Me: Three Nights Of Spiritualized | By Rob Drucker

J. Spaceman set up shop this past weekend playing one gig at the 9:30 Club in Washinton, DC and two gigs in New York City. Sporting a near identical set-lists on both NYC nights, SPIRITUALIZED played the uber-intimate Music Hall of Williamsburg on Saturday night and rocked out Terminal 5 on Sunday night.

Neither the setlist nor the band disappointed. Featuring the current Spiritualized line-up plus two gospel singers, the band tore through old favorites like “Shine a Light” and “Electricity” along with cuts from the new album Songs In A&E like “Soul on Fire,” “Sweet Talk,” and the new single “You Lie, You Cheat.” On top of that, fans were treated to old Spacemen 3 tracks like “Walking With Jesus” and “Take Me to the Other Side.”
