Modest Mouse | Music Hall Of Williamsburg, NYC | 6.20.2008

MODEST MOUSE “fired it up” last night at the Music Hall of Williamsburg with a secret show which took place after they opened for R.E.M. earlier that evening at Madison Square Garden. Fans were everywhere outside of the venue looking for tickets to get in, one even offered me a $100 for my $20 ticket which I politely declined. The advertised set time at 1:30 AM wound up being 2:30 AM.

Isaac Brock claimed that he feels like he is in his prime at these hours of the night, and they did play pretty damn well, until they abruptly stopped at 4AM stating they were told they had to end the show. Check out more pictures after the jump.

I didn’t realize there were that many stoners at the show last night.
