AL GREEN has been wooing people longer than I have been alive. We’ve been bumping his new record, Lay It Down in the office a lot of late. Al teamed up with drummer/afro’d rhythmist ?uestlove to produce the album. ?uestlove enlisted the help of emember of The Dap Kings to bring the album’s groove to completion.

Al brought his one-man show to Late Show With David Letterman last night and “Layed It Down”. See if you can count the number of hankerchief drops on this one.
