Try Out For Human Tetris

There’s a thery floating around the office that Japanese television game shows are far superior than American ones. Deal Or No Deal pales in comparison to a Komodo Dragon chasing a contestant with meat strapped to their head. And who wants to see 1 Vs 100 when you can watch a marshmallow eating contest?

So you could only imagine our excitement when we learned there will be a US version of Human Tetris. They are holding open casting calls for the game in NYC next weekend! If you attend, there’s a solid chance you will find multiple member of The Syndicate testing their skills to try to become contestents of what we’re positive will be the next big hit gameshow.

The TV phenomenon sweeping the globe is finally making its way to American television! Hole In The Wall (a.k.a. HUMAN TETRIS) is the most downloaded Japanese game show ever on the net. Now FremantleMedia, the company behind American Idol, is looking for trios (friends, co-workers, spouses, etc) to take part in one of the most outrageous, funny, and challenging game shows ever seen on television!

Have a chance to win cash and prizes!

If you are interested in being a contestant you must assemble a team of 3 people. We are seeking teams of three that have a common thread. Here are a few examples that we hope to find: Family, friends, co-workers, bridesmaids, triplets, sorority sisters, fraternity brothers, nurses, doctors, firemen, policemen, pilots, flight attendants, triplets, ballerinas, construction workers, dads, moms, etc.

All team members MUST be 18 years of age and U.S. citizens.

We are casting teams of the same gender, as well as mixed gender teams of ALL SHAPES and SIZES!

In order to apply you must download the application by going to Fox.com and click on Casting. Follow the instructions to Hole In The Wall.

Each individual team member must fill out their own application. All team members must audition together. NO EXCEPTIONS! ALL TEAMS MUST BRING THREE (3) FILLED OUT APPLICATIONS AND A CURRENT TEAM PHOTOGRAPH TO ONE OF OUR OPEN CALLS.

Include a current photograph of you and your teammates along with a brief explanation of how you all know each other. Please include your city and state in the subject line of the email!
