SXSW Live Blog | Would This Fly In Jersey?
posted by Matt on March 15th, 2008 in Live Blogging, SXSW 2008I’m strolling down Red River at about 2 in the afternoon and I hear a loud “Crack!” noise. I take a look to my left and there’s a bearded man in a cowboy hat, in the middle of the street in front of Beerland swinging a whip around and dancing with it. As I try to figure out if I’m in any sort of immediate danger I realize that he’s not some crazy dude, I’m just in Texas!
This conclusion was further proven to be correct when I realized no one on the street stopped for a moment to pay any sort of attention to the whipper-snapper in addition to his placement being a mere 10 feet from a police car with two officers who didn’t even look in the general direction of the stunter as he continued his best Indiana Jones impression.
