640 zillion bands and 321 million venues with 6000 catrillion people just looking for something musically good. Yeah there’s Motörhead, The Old 97s, Paramore, My Morning Jacket, X and all the other bands we grew up one, but SXSW is all about finding that one band you never heard / saw that just makes all the music biz b.s. worth it.

And for 2008, its GOD FIRES MAN, featuring Artie, formerly of Instruction, and Errortype 11. Thinks post DC hardcore meets New York city after CBGBs became a tourist attraction with a guitar lesson from Walter Schrieffles.

Seriously, there’s not an indie rock / post hardcore band that can touch this.
