VIDEO: Santogold | “L.E.S. Artistes”

SANTOGOLD seems to be everywhere as of late. Now another piece of coolness to be added to her repitoire is her video for the song “L.E.S. Artistes”. The video, shot in London last month, shows Ms. White acting as a war general forging through some fictional food fight/riot on the streets.

The vid was directed by Nima Nourizadeh who was part of the film collective The Imaginary Tennis Club (Junior Senior, Dizzie Rascal) before striking out on her own, handling vids for Lily Allen, Lady Sovereign, Hot Chip, and Mark Ronson to name a few.
