R.E.M. To Tour, Bring The National And Modest Mouse As Openers

R.E.M. has announced a North American Tour in support of their latest album Accelerate. The group’s first trek in nearly three years is set to begin in May and will feature opening acts Modest Mouse and The National. R.E.M. recently took over Manhattan’s lower east side to shoot the video for the first single “Supernatural Superserious.”

Wow, this is a pretty big tour. Not sure if I wanna shell out the bucks, but I could be convinced to treck out to Long Island for this!
R.E.M is on the list of bands I would only see in a casino.
