A Clash Reunion Of Sorts

Mick Jones has been on the road a lot lately in support of his current project with Tony James CARBON/SILICON. We even got a chance to see them.

But what we didn’t see when the band rolled through town was former drummer for The Clash, Topper Headon getting on stage to perform a few Clash tunes with Jones, which is what happened during the band’s Carbon Casino residency! Headon got on stage with the band and they performed two classic songs “Train In Vain”, and “Should I Stay Or Should I Go?” It was the first time Headon performed with another member of The Clash in 25 years and the first time there’s been an impromptu performance since Mick showed up on stage with Joe Strummer at Acton Town Hall back in 2002.

The best part about it? There’s video.
