Nada Surf Is Hitting The Road, Lines Up Show With Superdrag Forcing Us To Get Nostalgic For 1996

NADA SURF are going out on the road for the first part of 2008 in support of their new album, Lucky which will be released through Barsuk on Feb 5th. In the middle of the tour the band will be in Austin for SXSW partaking in that festival and what is has to offer.
That in and of itself is great news. The Little Ones and What Made Milwaukee Famous acting as the opening acts is even better news.
But perhaps the best news story of this entire tour is when the band hits NYC for the second time in April, they will be doing a co-headlining show with a recently reunited SUPERDRAG! This makes people like me smile for it gets us all weepy and nostalgic on the inside. And as someone mentioned earlier, the only thing missing from this show is HARVEY DANGER! Blam! Tickets go on sale this weekend.

Wow, this is awesome! It’s actually like the 10 year reunion of each band’s departing from Elektra Records. Both Nada Surf’s ‘The Proximity Effect’ and Superdrag’s ‘Head Trip In Every Key’ came out in ‘98. Gonna be a fun reunion on the road.
