Slightly Stoopid | Summerstage, NYC | 8.29.2007

Southern California’s SLIGHTLY STOOPID put on a smokin’ performance last night as part of the Summer Haze tour with co-headliner G. Love and Special Sauce. The band blazed through a set that was a nice mix of songs off their recently released Chronchitis and a mix of fan favorites. Fortunately a high percentage of the audience had lighters which lit up the night sky at Central Park during the slow jams.
More pictures after the jump.

I would say there were definitely over 420 hardcore fans there.

Man, you couldn’t lure me to that concert with a unicorn that shit $100 bills. I guess it was too much to hope this terrible band was just a Southern California phenomenon. I guess the bastard offspring of hip-hop culture and the surf-skate set is one of those non-regional subcultures, like rednecks.
