Daft PunkAs it’s been earlier reported, DAFT PUNK has a live cd that’s due out by the end of 2007. We’ve now learned the album will be a double disc and is due out on November 20th via the newly merged Capitol Music Group.

The record will feature the live set from their June concert recorded in the band’s hometown of Paris, France. It will also have a 50-page book/insert. The first disc will be the concert and the second disc will be the encore. Fans will have the option to purchase the cd as a single disc or a double disc package.

A live version of their song “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger” will be issued as a single. The band/song was recently featured in a Kanye West song. The video will be directed by Oliver Gondry and will feature footage shot by fans during the band’s August 9th show where they played Coney Island in Brooklyn, NY.

The band just wrapped up their first tour in almost a decade starting with a huge kickoff at this year’s Coachella festival in California. The band has no plans to release a DVD for the recent concert even though it played heavily on the visuals.
