Don’t Drag Me Down

Hi - On Friday I was fortunate enough to see one of my favorite bands, Social Distortion, play at Irving plaza. It was kick ass, I sang along, and spilled my drink twice (twice = three to five times).

Blackpool Lights are opening the tour and, although I think they also kick ass, I have to admit - I was a little curious how the older-slick-haired-leather-jacketed-Social D-dudes would take to them. It went over great, and after every song, the before-mentioned fan-archetype would make this face, and nod. To put that in perspective, having this type of guy nod his head subtly, is as equally-positive as say, Graham squealing with delight at an Eisley show (see; stoked). Let it be known; Graham loves Eisley.

Afterwards I went to a haunted house, which would have been awesome if we were not made to wait for two hours in line. Too much build up, not enough scary.

Peace out –
